- How to calculate Discount :-
We know that discount is the decrease in the actual price of product or service, let suppose we saw an advertisement like "25% off on all branded footwear " to calculate discount price we need to multiply the percentage rate to actual price i.e, (25/100)x1500=375 now subtract this figure with actual price i.e, 1500-375=1125 . Therefore the discount price is Rs.1125 if original price is Rs.1500 and they can say like this Rs.1500 Rs.1125.
- Difference between "Flat off" and "up to" :-
Most people confuse between the offering terms "Flat" and "up to". If suppose we saw a outlet which offering "Flat 30% off on all apparels" it means every product in that particular outlet is discounted with 30%, where as if you saw ad "up to 20% off on selected ..." the offer may be applied on selected product but the discount rate may be 20% or less.
