With the threatening of global warming and energy crises, searching for renewable and green energy resources is one of the most urgent challenge to sustainable development of human civilization. We have hydrocarbons, nuclear, solar and wind to power world in large-scale. For powering of nanodevices, self-powered sensor network and system, we need power source in nano scale. Environmental concern
Due to this revolution of nanogenerators there are as many demerits as merits. More nanogenerators means more personal electronics, more mobiles, more sensors means more e-waste. Recycling and disposal can be a huge environmental problem.
All in all nanogenerator can be proven good innovation if it is luanched with environmental concern.
